Information Collected Upon Registration: In order to post or like a reaction or check-in into a website, you are required to authenticate using a third-party social network, such as Facebook, Twitter or Google. Such authentication constitutes Registration and creates a Marginize account connected to your account on a third-party social network, which typically includes your name, username and profile picture. Some of this information, for example, your name, username and profile picture, is listed publicly on our Services, including on your profile page. Some of our Services, including the margin, our user profile pages, and site profile pages, do not require registration.
Additional Information: You may provide us with additional information to make public, such as your location, or a picture. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services or to market to you. You may unsubscribe from these messages by following the instructions contained within the messages or the instructions on our web site. If you email us, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request. Providing the additional information described in this section is entirely optional.
Actions: Reactions, Likes, Check-ins and other Public Information: Our Services are primarily designed to help you share information with the public at large. Most of the information you provide to us is information you are asking us to make public. This includes not only the Reactions you post and the metadata of those Reactions, such as when you posted a Reaction, but also the Reactions you “Like” or Retweet, the sites and pages you Check into and many other bits of information. Our default is almost always to make the information you provide public. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated. For example, your Reactions are searchable by many search engines and are immediately delivered via third-party social networks a wide range of users and services. Even if you share a reaction through a Third-party Social Network with tight privacy controls, a copy of your actions will be publicly available on the Marginize website. You should be careful about all information that will be made public by Marginize, not just your Reactions.
Log Data: Our servers and third-party services authorized by us (including, but not limited to Google Analytics) automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as a timestamp, your IP address, browser type, the referring domain, pages visited, and search terms. Other actions, such as interactions with advertisements or other features of the site, may also be included in Log Data.
