  • What is Marginize?

    Marginize is a browser plugin that augments every page on the Web with a sidebar enabling users to see what the world is saying about the page on Twitter, Facebook and Buzz, and interact with each other through comments and check-ins.

  • How do you download Marginize?

    Go to and click the “Download App” button on the front page! If you use Internet Explorer, you can use the bookmarklet to react to content.
  • Do I need to make a new account to use Marginize?

    No, you can use your existing Facebook, Twitter or Google Buzz username and password to sign and post comments with Marginize.
  • What is Marginize bookmarklet? How is it different from regular plug-in?

    The bookmarklet allows you to use Marginize and react when the plug-in is not yet available for your web browser.

  • Is there a way to turn it off?

    You can hide Marginize by clicking on the tab, or minimize it using the minimize button. To turn it off, click on the Marginize icon on the top of your browser.
  • Can all of the websites I check into be seen?

    Yes, your Marginize actions such as checking-in and reacting are seen by other users. However, Marginize does not track your browsing activity.
  • Who can see my activity?

    Users who open your profile can see the websites you are a curator of and your recent reactions.
  • I’m a site curator, now what?

    Congratulations! You are now the most active user on the site! Keep on marginizing!
  • Do I need the site’s permission to comment through Marginize?

    No you do not. Marginize displays comments made on Twitter, Facebook or Google Buzz accounts and allows you to post your own reactions.
